Dr Annika Stechemesser

Postdoctoral Researcher
Stechemesser

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Policy Evaluation Lab at PIK and a fellow in the lab Societal Transition and Well-being.

My research is focused on machine-learning based evaluation of climate and environmental policy. Moreover, I work on empirically understanding socioeconomic impacts of climate change with a particular focus on consequences for human well-being and behaviour.

Previously, I did my PhD at PIK and University of Potsdam. During my PhD, I spent a research stay at UC California Berkeley (USA). I studied Mathematics at University of Warwick (UK) and University Duisburg-Essen.
